CPS-Card Sketches #213

This is the card I made using this weeks CPS sketch and MFT stamp. I love this little girl. She's so sweet. 

I stamp her using Memento and colored in with copics. For the dress I colored around the inside edges with the blue and then added Copic blender marker from the center towards the blue. I also would touch the tip of the blender pen to the blue to add just a hint of the blue into some places. This gives the coloring a more watercolored feel.

CPS-Card Sketches #211

I've been taking some time to work on other projects, non-stamp related and also doing a bunch of yard work. I love the springtime when I can get back outside. Things blooming and the warmth again. So good for the soul.

This weeks Card Positioning Sketch is a great one that is really up for a lot of interpretation. Gets the creative juices flowing. Our sponsor is Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps and I love these girl rubber stamps. They are awesome for Copic marker coloring.

CPS-Card Sketches #209

This is the card that I made for the Card Positioning System sketch for this week using a beautiful stamp by Flower Soft. I used my Copic Markers to color her in with. 

Darn I thought I had kept the list of the colors I used, but I guess I didn't.  I only own Ciao sets A-D with the addition of the set of very light sketches. I plan on buying set E when I can. So if you go to the Copic site you can get an idea of the colors I own. Sometimes I wish I could own all of the colors but the investment on the Ciaos was a lot for me to spend. I honestly don't think I could justify buying all of them. Those of you that can God bless ya!

Would it be great to have more colors? Sure, what artist doesn't want more. But sometimes when you have less you tend to  be more creative with what you have. You know what I mean?

Anyways, I enjoyed my week break from blogging and actually took a break from all card making and such. I'll post this week what I did do.

Eeek! It's already the 28th. Where did the time go?

Here's my card for Card Positioning Systems sketch for this week.  The papers are by Basic Gray.

I loved coloring in this cute image by Krafin' Kimmie Stamps.  He looks so cool leaning next to his bike.  Great image for Father's Day.

I used Copic Markers.

CPS-Card Sketches #206

Seriously, how can you not love Kim's cute illustrations. I used her new sets "Falling for You" and "Birthday Buddies" (Paper  Smooches) for the new sketch challenge at Card Positioning Systems (CPS).

I used Copic Markers to color them in.

I used 2 different sized hole punches for the bubbles.

After coloring in and cutting out one of the fish I cut open the mouth of the monster and inserted the fish.
