Okay, I drew.
Really....I'm amazing myself lately....LOL
Like I have been saying, I'm trying to draw cartoons. And I'm really not that great at it.
My son keeps encouraging me to keep trying. So I have been.
Draw, erase, crumble and draw again.
It's a vicious cycle!
So yesterday, after scanning a gal I drew and worked on in Photoshop for hours. When she was done I thought to myself, "Self I like her."
Not!
So I started her all over again. I'll share her with you another time.
I was pleased with her so I drew another little girl.
Yep, as you can see from the middle picture I used those kids as a starting off point, an influence for her.
And I just started to draw. Weird, really....lol.
So I scanned my 2 little gals, cleaned them up. Saved them and printed them out.
I ran to my son for a word of approval, excited that I finally found a style I was somewhat please with and what did he say?
"Those are good mom, not really cartoony enough, but good. Kind of like something girls would like."
Good enough for me!

Darling image! It's great to see a new card from you!

She is adorable!!! I'd say draw whatever comes to you whether it's a cartoon or not. Who knows what path that might lead you to!!! :)

Asela, I love her, and the fact that she has all her facial features and a pretty proportional head size makes her even more attractive to me! Do what you love, girl! Good to see you creating again.

I love her! Bravo! I have something to ask you: I am very enjoying de fact that you write the copic colors you use in your draws and i should be so gratefull if you also write the name of the kind of paper you use. Paper is a big, complex dilemma to me. Thak you for the inspiration your share, it is food for mine.
Merci xx

LOL, loved your sons reaction to your image! She is very cute and just love the texture you gave to her hair and heart, cute way to do the sentiment also. Great job on this image!
