I'm so excited to share a preview of my new set for Ginak Designs, "Sew Pretty". I absolutely love vintage stuff and being a child of the 70's I was influenced by so many wonderful things from the 50's, 60' and the 70's. Designing this new stamp set was a blast and I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed illustrating it. I think it has a lot of fun possibilities.

I stamped the image using Memento black ink and colored with copics. Yes even the background behind the gal is copics. (Not airbrushed just layering the colors until they appeared smooth.) I paper pieced the apron. Can't wait to do it again trying lots of fun patterns. The stamp set also includes some cute little designs that you can use on her apron.

I found the ribbon at Walmart and the background paper is by Webster's Pages "Petite Papers Combo Pack".

There will be challenges, contest questions, chatter, as well as tons of samples from the Design Team members from 7-10 (central time) all leading to the new products being available in GinaK's online store at 10pm.

Asela, I am just loving your new "Sew Pretty"! I also chose to paper-piece mine .. This set is perfect for sampling the many pretty papers and turning them into aprons! Thanks for such an inspiring stamp set!

Asela - your new set is fabulous! I love the retro feel to it -- very June Cleaver! :- ) Can you tell I grew up in the 60s and 70s?! I can't wait to play with this set! I have lots of ideas spinning around in my head! Thanks for this great set!
