I finally was able to create. Feeling much better. Thank you for your kind words. The stresses of this time of the year along with my hormonal problems came together to allow me to get a sore throat. Not fun when mom is yucky.
This months Copic Creation challenge is coloring Pine Trees/Branches. The sponsor this week is Mouse House Designs. You need to hop on over to Copic Creations Challenge Blog to see all of the beautiful samples that the design team created. Plus, the wonderful list of Copic colors they used and several great tutorial for you to follow along with.
Don't get overwhelmed with extremely detailed images like this, just try to block in the lighter colors first, don't worry about all of the details.
B00, RV0000, Y06, R17, YG23, W3, W1, E31
Next you need to start thinking about the shading. Shading doesn't have to be hard. Think about not only where you want the areas to be darker, hence giving the images more dimension, but also think about what you want to stay lighter.
YG63, W5, RV13, R59, Y08, E33
Finally go back over and over again areas that you want the colors to deepen and blend. Remember to blend using the lighter color within the color family that you used.
B12 and adding again the darker shades to help create contrast

just simply adorable Asela! Glad you are on the mend!
