I couldn't resist making a card that I could mail to my parents. Incase you didn't know this already I'm Cuban and it's so nice to be able to use a stamp that I can mail out to my relatives. I know my mom will really like it. Both my brother and I are artist so my parents home is full of our art work adorning all corners of their home.
I stamped my cardinal from "First Christmas" stamp set using Stazon ink onto watercolor paper. I then applied the color using a sable paint brush and watercolor pencils. I prefer to use Prismacolor watercolor pencils.
I used Nestibilites to create the embossed circle and the scallop circle. The smaller circle I used MS small scallop punch and EK circle punch. I found that pretty lacey ribbon at Walmart. I hope that they have more since it is so darling.
