It's time for another wonderful Copic Creations Challenge. The focus for this challenge is gold. Either the color gold or coloring gold metallics. The sponsor for this challenge is I Brake For Stamps. They have a ton of beautiful stamps, I know you'll have fun looking at their site. Create a card following the guidelines on the Copic Creations Challenge Blog and upload the link to it there. The prize will be 2 full sheets of stamps from IBFS! If the winner uses an IBFS image and you will receive an additional sheet of stamps!
I used their Sweet Mermaid for todays challenge. I stamped her using Memento ink.
E50, E53 - Skin
Y38 - Tail
E33 - Shading of the tail, scales
YG11 - Hair
RV23 - Shell, cheeks
RV34 - Shading for shells, pearls
RV23 - Blending RV34 of shell
I used E50 over the pink of the cheeks to tone it down
Y38 - Blending E33 on the tail
G94 - Shading of hair
Adding highlights using White Gel Pen to hair, eyes, tail, pearls and shells
I added Diamond Glaze over the top of the tail and sprinkled some gold glitter on it. I did find out, after I put Diamond glaze over top of the tail, that the White Gel Pen highlights smeared and pretty much went away. You can see how different this picture is from the one above. If I could take it back I wouldn't have added the white highlights with the gel pen to the tail. Just be aware of this. You can chose to stop at the previous step if you like that look or add the diamond glaze, but don't pour it over top of any White Gel pen highlights.

Pure gorgeousness! :) I love your coloring of this image soooo much. Awesome too that you take the time to photograph each step - wow, very helpful. Beautiful card! hugz, Mary
