I had a ton of fun using my newest stamp set being released this week at Ginak's!
(To see it larger just click on the pic)
The set is full of possibilities. I can see the images used on all sorts of objects and of course cards.
I stamped the card front using my Grapes cluster with Memento ink and colored in with Copic markers.
I stamped the grapes onto a bisque plate (you can get unglazed plates like these in paint your own ceramic shops) using Memento ink and colored them in using Copic markers.
I then hand lettered the words. First writing them on the plate using a pencil and went over the lines with the new Prismacolor Illustration markers, Black. It has a wonderfully small brush tip. Perfect for lettering. I then used a Kneaded eraser to erase the pencil.
I airbrushed the background using Copic Marker Y21, V91 and YG23. The specks were created by inserting the brush tip into the ABS handle.
I'll post a step by step of how I colored in the grapes.
I used V91, V95, V17, YG23, YG63, and G24

what a great idea for a plate, it's gorgeous! love your card too--thanks for illustrating such a pretty set!
