Feeling Groovy
I tried....really I tried....to get my groove on!!
I was determined to stamp. No matter what. No matter how it turned out. I was gonna try.
I pulled out the new stamp set I got last month, SU! She's All That and I told myself, "Self, you are going to sit your butt down and stamp!"
I used my Archival ink pad and inked up the silhouette of the gal. Oh, I was scared. I gently positioned the stamp over top of some glossy card stock. Pressed down and gently lifted the wooden block. Much to my surprise, I did it! I actually stamped....LOL.
I used SCS sketch challenge for last Wednesday.
I pulled out some funky paper from my Mat stack "Retro Prints" by DCWV and used it f
or the background.
Now the really scary part. I brought out my sewing machine, the one that's been in storage for a year. Oh how I missed it! I positioned the card under the needle and commenced to sewing. And much to my surprise I did okay. Well, almost okay....I sewed through both layers of the card and now it's just a card front! A very thick card front mind ya....lol
I went into my Stamp Cave and searched for my acrylic paints. Luckily I had them all in one drawer. I pulled out lime green and pink and added some color to the girl and poodle. I love painting on my cards. Adds that extra something.
Well, I'm not 100% sure I like this card but at least I accomplished what I set out to do today and stamp. Seems like my little set up may work after all.

You've definitely NOT lost your touch, my friend! Clevah use of paint, sewing machine and your button brads! {wink}
